Order of the Arrow

The Order of the Arrow is Scouting's National Honor Society. The OA's emphasis is leadership development, service, and camping promotion and outdoor skills. The Order of the Arrow, or the OA, is the behind the scenes work at almost every summer camp, and cub day camp. Without the work done by these elected individuals, summer camps across the country would not be able to operate effectively.
Troops elect candidates for membership in the Order of the Arrow under the criteria that they feel those eligible live by the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. To be eligible, a scout must be at least first class, and have 15 nights of outdoor camping (summer camp may be included once).
Check out the BSA OA website and the Tschitani Lodge website

All ordeal weekends are held at Camp Mattatuck, unless discussed with an other chapter other than the Mattatuck Chapter. All brothers arrive at 7PM unless otherwise noted, and all ordeal candidates should arrive at 8PM.

For your yearly dues, please give your $12 to the chapter treasurer Allan D. All checks should be made payable to Mattatuck Chapter OA. Your Yearly membership expires 12/31 of the last year you paid for.
