Policy for Drivers Under 18 Years Old

 

As detailed in Troop 52's Parents' Guide:

While boys are at our meetings the Scout leaders are responsible for them. You should feel assured that they are where they are supposed to be and safe.

If your son needs to leave Scouts before the meeting is over, please let us know before the meeting, or come in to the meeting to get him. We cannot allow Scouts to just disappear without notice.

I cannot control how boys are transported to meetings. I am responsible however, for how they get home. Scout regulations prohibit Scouts to be driven by drivers under the age of 18. We make exceptions in the case of brothers.
