Troop 52 Meeting Cancellation Policy
The following is our policy regarding cancellation of troop meetings due to weather or other unforeseen events. We do NOT follow the school schedule. Their decisions are made at 5AM. Our meeting isn't until 7PM and the roads can change dramatically in the meantime. Paul Hoffman makes the decision. He calls the Senior Patrol leader and several adult leaders who don't have sons in the troop. He also e-mails everyone. The Senior Patrol Leader calls the Patrol Leaders who in turn call their membership. Some patrols make phone trees to facilitate the process. The website will post a cancellation if our webmaster is available to put it up. If you have doubts about whether the meeting is being held please call your patrol leader. The final decision to leave the house is always yours.
