Boy Scout Troop 52 is over 90 years old, yet we're as young as the newest excited 11-year-old who joins us in the spring. Besides the traditional Scout Ideals our program emphasizes:

Adventure

Leadership Development

Service

And FUN!

Monthly camping trips and hikes and other outdoor activities

Service projects

Week of camping at Camp Mattatuck under troop leadership in August.

Since 1983 our High Adventure Programs for high school age Scouts have challenged our boys. These trips have included:

• Rugged hiking in New England and the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico and Colorado.
• Canoeing in the Adirondack Region of New York and the Maine wilderness.
• Sailing the coast of Rhode Island and Massachusetts
• Hiking, Cycling and Sea Kayaking at Acadia National Park
• Cross Country Skiing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
