Boy Scout Troop 52 is nearly 100 years old, yet we're as  young as the newest 11 year-old boy who joins us in  the spring. Besides the traditional Scout ideals, our program emphasizes:

  • Adventure
  • Leadership Development
  • Service
  • Monthly camping trips and hikes and other outdoor activities
  • Service projects
  • Week of camping at Camp Mattatuck in August
  • And FUN!

Since 1983 our High Adventure Program for high school age Scouts has challenged our boys.  Past trips have included:

  • Rugged hiking the highest peaks in New England and the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico and Colorado.

  • Sailing off the coast of Rhode Island and Massachusetts
  • Hiking, Cycling and Sea Kayaking at Acadia National Park
